The Law we force
The Law we force
The Thai Criminal Code criminalizes offenses concerning child pornography, which were approved by the Thai National Legislative Assembly via the enactment of the Criminal Code Amendment Act (No. 24) of B.E. 2558 (2015) following the resolution of the Thai National Legislative Assembly made during its 27/2558 meeting on May 15, 2015.
In 2013, in order to campaign for the criminalization of child pornography, Thai and Swedish patrons co-founded the Protection of Children’s Rights Foundation. After the National Legislative Assembly deemed it appropriate to enact this as law, the Protection of Children’s Rights Foundation has been working with various networks in campaigning to raise awareness and disseminate knowledge about this new law of Thailand to the public, both among Thais and foreigners. This campaign includes disseminating information about this law on television programs, radio, newspapers, magazine articles, campaign spots, and this website.
Safeguard Kids Foundation was established in 2013 to advocate for social change in addressing sexual abuse and improving child welfare.
